Two facts facing the Maryland General Assembly as it begins its 427th session Wednesday: there’s a $2 billion deficit in the state budget, and 2010 is an election year. We ask Julie Bykowicz of The Baltimore Sun and John Wagner of The Washington Post what, given that context, they expect the most important, contentious, and entertaining issues to be in Annapolis over the next 90 days.
And, at the end of those 90 days: seersucker?
