You may know that Punxsutawney Phil is a precipitation predicting whistle-pig or that Wiarton Willie is a wily weather woodchuck, but did you know that Maryland has its own magically meterological Marmota monax? Meet Maryland Murray, Cumberland‘s favorite groundhog! We check in early with Lee Fiedler, Mayor of Cumberland, who perform’s the city’s annual groundhog shadow check.
