‘Tis the season…for clichés. During the holidays, newspaper headlines are full of stale leftovers. At the Baltimore Sun, there’s a list of banned holiday clichés. Is ho-ho-ho a no-no…no?

Today, Sheilah asks the man behind that list. John McIntyre is a veteran copy editor, the Baltimore Sun night content production manager, and, undoubtedly, the Santa Claus of clauses.

      That song is Tom Tom Club’s “Wordy Rappinghood,” as remixed by Tom Middleton. An excuse to get two great albums: Middleton’s great mix The Trip as well as Tom Tom Club’s self-titled album.
