Thomas V. “Mike” Miller is the president of the Maryland State Senate, but he’s also an amateur historian and a particular fan of Reverdy Johnson. You probably know who Senator Miller is, but just who is Reverdy Johnson? Sheilah talk with Senator Miller about the life and times of the lawyer who tried the Dred Scott case, a man who tried to keep the union together and the Marylander who was an honorary pallbearer at Lincoln’s funeral.
