Early voting for Baltimore City’s general election starts in one week. Next Friday we’ll look at the race for mayor. Last Friday, we talked to candidates for City Council District 3. Today–the race for City Council President. Sheilah talks to Libertarian candidate Lorenzo Gaztañaga. (Technical difficulties at WYPR kept Republican candidate David Wiggins from joining us, and we reached out several times to incumbent Democrat Bernard C. “Jack” Young, but we didn’t hear back)
On Monday, October 24, the public is invited to Baltimore’s Voting Machine Warehouse for a demonstration of voting machines. It’s at 10 a.m., 301 N. Franklintown Road.
