2-21-12: Transgender Legislation

In the last few years, legislative bodies across the state have been working on bills that focus on transgender issues. Montgomery and Howard counties, along with Baltimore City, have already passed such measures. Baltimore County is currently considering one and will vote on it this evening.

Last year the General Assembly considered a state wide bill and this year will consider a similar one. This morning we take a look at all of this legislation with Sharon Brackett, Board Chair of Gender Rights Maryland.
