Tom Hall talks with Dianne Lyday, Jared Denhard, and the winners of a contest to create a new take on our state song. Jared wrote an entirely new song, and Dianne wrote new lyrics to the old tune.

Jared Denhard’s song was lovely. Had a John Denver quality and maybe could be more simplified with a catchier tune but is good stuff.
