The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) is up for reauthorization. When it comes to changing VAWA, those who study domestic violence are discussing different issues than the politicians are.
We hear from Mothyna James-Brightful of Turnaround, then talk with Johns Hopkins nursing professor Jaquelyn Campbell, whose work was recently profiled in the New Republic. We’ll also hear from University of Baltimore law professor Leigh Goodmark, author of A Troubled Marriage: Domestic Violence and the Legal System.
More from Doctor Campbell on her work
