After the passing of his father, Sargent Shriver, Mark Shriver found he couldn’t hold a conversation about him without someone calling him “a good man”. To further understand his father and what it means to be a good man, Shriver has written A Good Man: Rediscovering My Father, Sargent Shriver. This morning Sheilah talks with him about his father, the book and trying to figure out your parents.
Mark Shriver will read from his book A Good Man at the Enoch Pratt Library’s Wheeler Auditorium in the Central Branch on June 7 at 6:30 p.m.
