Marylander in a Burmese Jail Update: Handcuffing

Burma news site Mizzima News has a good article about the protest by U Kyi Win, one of Kyaw Zaw Lwin’s lawyers, against the government insisting on Kyaw Zaw Lwin being handcuffed during the trial hearings. Kyi Win says it is against Burmese law and also contrary to a presidential decree, which he calls a “handbook for the courts”.
