Tonight, the Maryland Institute College of Art’s Center for Race and Culture is screening a film called Paused in Time, a documentary about hip-hop culture in Baltimore. Tom Hall talks to two of the filmmakers, brothers Timothy and Matthew Cooper, and to Leslie King-Hammond, director of the Center for Race and Culture.
MICA will screen Paused in Time at 7 p.m. in Falvey Hall in the Brown Center. After the film, filmmakers Timothy Cooper, Matthew Cooper and Joshua Lynn will take questions. The event is free to the public.
