Marylander in a Burmese Jail: Hunger Strike

The Democratic Voice of Burma has an article today on Kyaw Zaw Lwin’s hunger strike, which lawyer U Kyi Win told us about this morning. “He looked very weak and pale,” Kyaw Zaw Lwin’s aunt told Democratic Voice of Burma. “He said he was doing it in a protest against the government’s imprisoning of many young people under various unfair charges, and oppressing them with no rights,” she said.
