1-6-10: Security in Cyberspace?

There may be nothing that has changed our lives more over the past decade than how much we rely on the internet. The more time we spend on the web, the more we do with it – all make the question of cyber security more urgent.
The national spotlight focused on the question when President Obama finally named someone to the position of cybersecurity chief. With Maryland’s proximity to the Capital and our growing tech sector, entrepreneurs and elected officials alike have been pushing for Maryland to be part of the growing cyber security wave.
Dr. Alan Sherman, Director of the University of Maryland Baltimore County’s Center for Information Security and Assurance joins us to talk about cyber security and where it’s headed.
