2-8-10: Why Subsidize Art?

Arts advocates descend on Annapolis Tuesday to make the case for continued state funding for non-profit arts organizations. The annual event, called “Maryland Arts Day,” is organized by Maryland Citizens for the Arts. Doug Mann, chair of MCA’s board and Vice President and CFO of MICA; and Doreen Bolger, Director of the Baltimore Museum of Art, make the case for arts funding in lean times.
