Author and illustrator Nancy Patz is known for writing and illustrating many popular picture books. The Jewish Museum of Maryland is featuring an exhibit of her work in three series with very different themes. Patz joins Tom Hall in the studio to discuss the genesis of the project, titled Nancy Patz: Her Inward Eye.

    Nancy Patz’s responses to the questions in this interview revealed her special gifts for communicating core issues of human existence. The fusion of power and grace, a memorable feature of her work, inevitably stirs deep-seated visceral response.
