7-19-10: Edmund Lind and the Buildings of Baltimore

The Baltimore Architecture Foundation has published a book about a 19th century architect named Edmund Lind, who designed, among other buildings, the Peabody Institute in Baltimore’s Mt. Vernon neighborhood, which includes the stunning and revered Peabody Library. The biography was written by Charles Belfoure, an architect and Historic Preservation Consultant from Westminster. It’s called Edmund G. Lind: Anglo-American Architect of Baltimore and the South. Tom talks to Charles Belfoure.
