Last spring, Dr. Sheri Parks published a book that offered a fresh and compelling argument about the role of black women in American culture. She’s found everywhere, from antebellum plantations to the Huxtables’ living room.
Tom talks to Dr. Parks about her book, Fierce Angels: The Strong Black Woman in American Life and Culture.
