Sheilah talks with Dr. Joshua Sharfstein, the new Secretary of the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. He formerly served in the Food and Drug Administration, and previous to that he was Baltimore’s health commissioner.
We ask him what he learned from his time in D.C. and what his plans for Maryland are.

Ask Dr. Sharfstein when Maryland ( and the Federal government ) will be bankrupt as a result of this healthcare blank check. Neither the Federal government nor the state can afford “free” ( ha, ha ) healthcare. Only believers in Santa Claus, perpetual motion machines and the tooth fairy believe otherwise.
