2-1-11: Cameron Blake

February 1, 2011 at 7:50 am Leave a comment

Cameron Blake is a Baltimore singer-songwriter with a classical pedigree. His lyrics create a dense, romantic world, and he’s got the ambitious arrangements to back it all up. He recently released two albums–Hide and Go Seek, and a live album called Cameron Blake with Strings–and celebrated those releases with a two-night stand at An Die Musik in December.

Today, Cameron Blake joins Tom in the studio to talk songwriting and share a couple tunes.

You can catch Cameron this Friday at Joe Squared in Baltimore’s Station North neighborhood. On February 24, he’ll be downtown at Rams Head Live opening for Medicine Lake.
