Heather Murren grew up in Baltimore, graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 1988, and built a career in the financial industry as an senior executive of Merrill Lynch and an award-winning financial analyst on Wall Street.
For the last year and a half she’s been one of ten members of the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, which was appointed by Congress to figure out what went wrong.
Sheilah talks to Heather Murren in advance of her appearance in Baltimore this weekend to receive a distinguished alumnus award from Johns Hopkins.
