3-14-11: A Solid Dose of Albee
It’s all Albee, all the time, at Washington’s Arena Stage this spring. The theater is holding a festival celebrating the playwright. It includes performances of “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” (running through April 10th) and “At Home at the Zoo” (running through April 24th).
Maryland Morning Theater critic J. Wynn Rousuck reviews both plays here.
The festival also includes a number of free readings of Albee plays. You can see a full list–and sign up to attend — here.
And if you’re interested in hearing a conversation with Albee himself, check out this interview that aired on the Diane Rehm Show on March 14.
