Our social media analysts Nathan Jurgenson and P.J. Rey just invited their favorite thinkers and artists to town for an “augmented” conference called Theorizing the Web. We’ll find out what they learned about the new digital divides and how Twitter backchannels can create augmented reality in real time.

Nathan Jurgenson and P.J. Rey are Ph.D. candidates in sociology at the University of Maryland, and they blog at Cyborgology.
