5-2-11: Afghan Voices

In the “Afghan Voices” project, young people in Afghanistan train in the use of video to tell the everyday stories of their lives and their country.

Sheilah talks to Baltimore-based James Blue, who started the project through his company Public Affairs Media Group, and to Sidiq Malikzada, who produced segments for “Afghan Voices.” Sidiq grew up in Kabul, but he now resides in Frederick, where he’s begun coursework at Frederick Community College.
