5-16-11: Engaging the Community

Many schools across the country are offering, or requiring, that students do work outside of their campuses out in the community. We take a look at two local programs. Karen Stultz is the head of the Office of Community Engagenement at MICA and Michael Simon-Curry is the France Merrick Service Learning professor at Goucher.

    Solutions are never purely technical, structural or procedural. I am grateful MICA is focused on the role of art in transforming our social problems. Thanks for this great interview.
