6-7-11: From Baltimore to Joplin with Love

Last month we interviewed artist Rebecca Nagle, who helped found a multi-neighborhood community group called No Boundaries. Turns out Rebecca is from Joplin, Missouri, where a tornado on May 22 killed 141 people.

Rebecca is hosting a benefit Friday night to raise money for the Joplin school system, many of whose schools were damaged.

Sheilah talks to Rebecca about the Joplin she knew as a child.

June 10 at 8pm
$5 – $10
Being organized by Joplin native and Baltimore local Rebecca Nagle
All proceeds are being donated to the Joplin public school system, which lost four school buildings (including the one public high school) to May’s devastating tornado.
