Thursday, June 16

The Baltimore History Evenings series continues with a screening of a film called Tennis Everyone!  The event takes place at the Village Learning Place in Charles Village, here in Baltimor, at 7:00.

Friday, June 17- Saturday June, 18

The 62nd annual Delmarva Chicken Festival takes place at Delmarva Christian High School in Georgetown, DE.

Saturday, June 18

Literary Journal Passager holds a reading for its new anthology, Burning Bright.   It starts at 8:00 at the University of Baltimore Theater in the Student Center.  It’s free and open to the public.

Also, the Maryland State Arts Council presents the Maryland Traditions Folk Life Festival.   It starts at 10 in the morning, and they’ll be playing and singing and dancing all day until 7:00 Saturday night, at the Creative Alliance in East Baltimore.

And, two time Grammy award winning singer, songwriter and story teller Bill Harley gives a concert at Towson University as part of the WordBRIDGE Playwrights Laboratory’s 15th anniversary.  Towson’s Center for the Arts mainstage theater, 8:00.

Sunday, June 19

Heritage Tours offers a special Juneteenth Tour called the Frederick Douglas Path to Freedom Walking Tour in historic Fells Point.  People will meet at the corner of Broadway and Thames Street, near the water taxi at 3:00.  RSVP: bbhtours@gmail.com or  443 983 7974
