6-21-11: Testing Without Tension

One of the biggest issues inĀ controllingĀ STDs is just knowing who has them. But how do you know if people don’t want to be tested? Dr. Charlotte Gaydos, a professor in the division of infectious diseases at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, has found one way to make testing easy and confidential: let people do it themselves.

She talks with Sheilah about the program she co-founded, I Want The Kit, that allows people to test themselves.
