Women and men are biologically different – but how different, and how important that difference is to our health is a question the medical research community is just starting investigate in more depth.

One person who’s looking into this is Sabra Klein.   She’s a professor of microbiology and immunology at Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she studies how men and women react differently to infection–and she speaks with Sheilah about her work.
