7-12-11: A Writer in Cairo

July 12, 2011 at 7:50 am 2 comments

Eden Unger Bowditch spent her spring finishing her fourth book,  a children’s book called The Atomic Weight of Secrets.  Although she lived in Baltimore for years, writing for CityPaper and the Urbanite, Eden and her family now live in Cairo, Egypt.  She speaks with Sheilah about what she saw during the protests–and about the atmosphere in the country now.

Eden Unger Bowditch has several readings in Baltimore in the coming days:  Saturday, July 16 at the Book Escape, at the Barnes and Noble at Baltimore’s inner harbor on July 23, and July 27 at the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Hampden.
