8-1-11: Changing Sentencing for Crack

The United States Sentencing Commission recently changed the guidelines that focus on federal crack cocaine offenses, making the latest recommended reduction retroactive. What does it mean to make a sentencing suggestion retroactive? We talk with David Gray of the University of Maryland Law School to find out.
