Maryland utilities have until September 21 to file a “major storm report” with the Public Service Commission, which will include information about outages, work crews, communication with customers, and more. The PSC will also hold hearings starting Monday, October 3.
Del. Patrick McDonough (R – Baltimore and Harford counties) has written to the PSC accusing utility Baltimore Gas and Electric of not being “storm ready.” We’ll hear from Del. McDonough, and we’ll look back at the hurricane–and earthquake–with People’s Counsel Paula Carmody and Maryland Emergency Management Agency director Richard Muth.
