This summer, Nancy Grasmick retired from the Maryland State Department of Education, and Bernard Sadusky stepped in as interim state superintendent of schools. He was superintendent of the Queen Anne’s County school system from 1994 to 2007.
Dr. Sadusky expects MSDE to name a new superintendent sometime this school year. Today, Sheilah asks him what his priorities will be in the meantime.
Hear Sheilah’s full interview with Dr. Sadusky [14:50]: The Maryland Historical Society has named Nancy Grasmick as the first recipient of the Maryland Defender Award. The Society will hold a reception Thursday, September 15. More information at the MdHS website.
