9-16-11: Youth Homelessness

Hundreds of young people in Baltimore don’t know where they’ll sleep tonight.  And the problem is growing. A count of homeless youth this year found 640 young people living on their own with shelter–up by half from the last count two years earlier. With us to discuss the problem are Professor Nan Astone from the Center for Adolescent Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Ross Pologe, executive director of the Fellowship of Light Youth shelters.
