11-7-11: Getting to Good Graphic Design

Ellen Lupton is the director of the Graphic Design MFA Program and the Center for Design Thinking at the Maryland Institute College of Art.  She’s edited a new book about the process of design, written and designed by students and faculty in MICA’s Graphic Design program. Today she tells Tom about Graphic Design Thinking: Beyond Brainstorming.

Tonight at MICA, there will be a presentation and reception to announce the publication of Graphic Design Thinking and Participate: Designing with User-Generated Content, a book co-authored by two MICA alumni.
