Baltimore-based author Larry Doyle won the 2008 Thurber Prize for American Humor for his novel, I Love You Beth Cooper.  His new book is a collection of more than 50 essays published in The New Yorker, Esquire, National Lampoon, and elsewhere over the last 20 years.
