Audio for this segment will be available by the end of the day.

This week, we’re remembering Marylanders we lost this year.  That includes R. Sargent Shriver, who passed away in January at the age of 95.  The Atlantic Magazine’s deputy editor Scott Stossel wrote a hefty tome on the Peace Corps founder, Kennedy in-law, and one-time vice-presidential candidate.  It’s titled Sarge:  The Life and Times of Sargent Shriver.

In this interview, Stossel talks with Sheilah about Shriver’s quick foray into Maryland politics.  They also discuss how Shriver’s relationship with the Kennedy family may have held him back.
