1-11-12: The Deficit

The Maryland General Assembly convenes on Wednesday for the 2012 session. On January 18, they’ll see the first version of the new state budget. Once again, they’ll have to reckon with a deficit of over $1 billion.

What are their options? Sheilah asks University of Maryland Baltimore County political science professor Roy Meyers.
