They’re creepy, and they’re kooky, and they’re . . . on stage.  Theater Critic J. Wynn Rousuck reviews the Addams Family, the musical, playing at the Hippodrome through March 18.

The members of “The Addams Family,” pictured above, are Patrick D. Kennedy (Pugsley), Pippa Pearthree (Grandma), Sara Gettelfinger (Morticia), Douglas Sills (Gomez), Tom Corbeil (Lurch), Cortney Wolfson (Wednesday) and Blake Hammond (Uncle Fester).  Note: J. Wynn Rousuck saw an understudy instead of Pippa Pearthree in this production.

In related news, there’s a festival going on celebrating the work of pupeteer Basil Twist, who designed the puppets for this production of the Addams Family.  The shows and venues are:
