It’s Sine Die, the last day of the 2012 Maryland General Assembly session. At least on the calendar, it is.
If the legislature can’t pass a balanced budget today, it will trigger an extended session. Negotiations over a gambling bill are making the schedule even tighter. During this hour, Governor Martin O’Malley will join us by phone to talk about the budget, and some of his own bills, including scaled back versions of the wind and septic bills that failed to pass last year.
