4-10-12: Goodbye, Sine Die

The theatrics kept up right down to the last minute, but the General Assembly ends on a whimper, with a budget that looks nothing like the ones proposed by the House, Senate, or Governor O’Malley.
We’ll ask a panel of reporters who watched the session closely what passed, what didn’t, and why. We’ll hear from Megan Poinski, Associate Editor of Maryland Reporter.com and Brian Witte, a Maryland based reporter with the Associated Press.

Very much appreciated the interview with Governor O’Malley on the last day of the legislative session. It gave some insights on what was happening and how the needs of the state are being and not being met. I appreciated his concern for the future of the state and a long view of our needs. Thanks for that interview.
