2-22-12: Maryland’s Civil Rights Movement Seen and Heard

A new Maryland Historical Society exhibition brings alive the state’s civil rights movement with photographs and oral history. We’ll discuss the movement all the way back to the 1930s with “Seen and Heard” organizer Jenny Ferretti, civil rights figure Dr. Helena Hicks, and Fraser Smith, WYPR senior news analyst and author of “Here Lies Jim Crow: Civil Rights in Maryland.”
