3-21-12: Maryland’s Poor Grade

The Center for Public Integrity, Public Radio International, and the non-profit Global Integrity teamed up to take a look at how accessible and transparent state governments are, and how well equipped they are to handle corruption.
They gave each state a grade. Maryland…did not do well. And as you might imagine, the state is not happy with its grade.
This morning, Sheilah talks to Christian Bourge, the reporter who researched the Old Line state, and Beth Blauer, who is director of of StateState and BayStat.
